What checkrides does Checkride Prep cover?
Checkride Prep currently covers the Private Pilot ASEL, Instrument Rating, and Commercial Pilot ASEL oral exams — aligned to the FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS) for each certificate.
How is this different from just reading a study guide?
The AI examiner asks follow-up questions based on your specific answers, just like a real DPE. If your answer is incomplete or partially correct, the examiner probes deeper rather than moving on. Passive reading can't replicate that.
Can I use the microphone to speak my answers?
Yes. Tap the microphone button to speak your answer — it will be transcribed and submitted automatically. This works in both the web browser and the iOS app. Microphone permission is required.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the exam page — tap "Manage Subscription" in the top navigation. You can also email us and we'll take care of it immediately.
I subscribed on the website. Can I use the iOS app with the same account?
Yes. Log in with the same email and password you used on the website and your subscription will be recognized automatically.
The AI examiner said something I believe is incorrect. What should I do?
Please email us with the specific question, your answer, and what the examiner said. Factual accuracy is a top priority and we actively correct errors in the system. Your feedback directly improves the tool for every pilot who uses it.
Does the tool know what aircraft I'm flying?
Yes. When you start a session you'll be asked to select your aircraft from a list of common training aircraft. The examiner will tailor systems questions to your specific airframe.
Is my subscription data safe?
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe and we never store your credit card details. Your account information is secured via Supabase. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
